If you are looking for a subtle watch then you certainly do not want to be looking at the Stuhrling Prestige. If you are looking for something that has a bit of personality to it then I think you have found your perfect partner. Let’s take a little look at what the watch is all about.
In case you didn’t know, Stuhrling is one of only a few companies nowadays which completely bases its operations in the home of watchmaking, Switzerland. Here, they craft all of their watches – the majority of the watch being crafted by hand. The watches are then placed through perhaps one of the most rigorous quality control processes out there before being sold. This means that you end up with an absolutely brilliant watch that is guaranteed to give you many years of service life. If for any reason something does go wrong with the watch (and it is very rare for that to happen I hasten to add!) you can be sure that Stuhrling, a company which prides itself on its quality of customer service, will be there to help you out.
Perhaps the most striking thing about this watch is the green and black dial (I told you that it has a lot of character to it!). This dial includes a date wheel at the twelve o’clock position on the watch and beautifully large numbers, each of which has been put in there by hand. This is backed up by a gorgeous steel-link bracelet which is incredibly easy to use. I know that some of the other watches at this price point tend to have clasps which are far too difficult to use and thus can cause great frustration. The bright colour of course means that this isn’t something that you are going to be wearing at formal events. To be honest though, it isn’t really intended for that. This watch has been designed for those that want to make a real fashion statement when they are out and about.
When you hold the Stuhrling Prestige Men’s Dreadnough Pro Quartz watch in your hand you won’t quite believe the price that you paid for it. Despite the relatively low price compared to some of the other designer watches on the market you are getting real bang for your buck. Here you get something which is fairly weighty and thus feels high in quality. In addition to that you have beautifully brushed steel and a watch which looks like a ton of love went into it. Sure, it may be a fairly inexpensive watch compared to others, but I do truly believe that it holds its own against them.
